displaying DS's artwork

I've seen the threads about scrapbooks etc which I have got, but how do you display the ones you want to see all the time? I think DS would keep pulling them off the fridge etc. What inventive ideas have you used to display your DC's masterpieces?

chocbutton - I put my sons on the back of doors using drawing pins! I also laminate some of the more special ones (DS drew DH a picture of the 2 of them under a rainbow with hearts going from DS to DH - my FIL had passed away and DS realised DH was sad!!) Funnily enough he has never attempted to pull them down - he's too proud to see his stuff on display!

It's the models I don't know what to do with!!!

this is what I do. I made them from painting wood with acrillic and glueing on wooden pegs.

I also scan all the best stuff from a year and take photos of 3d stuff. Then I reduce them all so they fit on 1 or 2 A4 sheets and print them out and frame them. Children's artwork almost always looks better when it's reduced in size.

that's a lovely story! we haven't got to the models stage yet as he is not yet 2, but I am sure that will be coming soon! Like the idea of laminating them, but some are just not flat enough, i.e. loads of wool or paper or glitter stuck on with a pint of glue i love them though!

oh I like those quickdraw - might have to try my hand at making some myself.
