Easter party for 3yr olds

I'm planning to host an Easter party for my 3yr old daughter and her friends and family. Does anyone have any ideas about making easy bonnets and baskets or anything else that may help in any way. (food, games and crafts for them to do?)

Bunny ears go down well, simply a strip of paper for round the head and ear shapes decorated with tissue paper and stuck on with double sided tape.

Our local poundstretcher has loads of really cheap little easter chicks which could go in a basket with little eggs padded out with pastel coloured tissue paper.

Cut out egg shapes in card, kids could decorate with glitter or make squiggles with a candle and then paint on top to make patterns. These can then be mounted onto card to make easter cards.

Our stationary box has an easter craft pack for about £1.50 which has easter stencils such as eggs, chicks or rabbits which could be used to make cards. Last year I let my daughter sponge paint with the stencils. When they were dry I cut them out and mounted them with sticky pads onto folded card to make easter cards.

They could make easter nests, can do it with chocolate and shredded wheat but this is a bit bitty in the mouth so we use rice crispies. then put little eggs inside.

An easter egg hunt is a must.

Easter bonnets could be decorated with tissue paper flowers onto a premade template.

thanks very much for yr ideas. they are great. i think the bunny ears will be easier than bonnets. Also is stationary box a shop? and what are those things from lakeland? any more ideas from any one would be great thanks.

Get loads of the little ellow chicks and hide them for an easter hunt (exchange chickens for eggs at the end)

Try Baker Ross as they have pre cut backet blanks that you stick together and decorate as well as lots of decorative easter bits.
