Hand decorated cotton totes

In the past I have make beaded jewellery at christmas and then sold them at work.

This year I am thinking of buying and decorating some plain cotton tote bags
I have the Kath Kidson 'Make' book so would probably use designs from in there.

This sort of thing (top one) and would probably charge about £4/ £5 per bag.

What do you crafty ladies think???

Not full on crafty personbut i would go for the long handled gusset bag, more practical for shopping/gym/kids.

Agree with MatNanPlus about the long handles being more useful. I have made a few myself and they are much admired.
