i am useless at anything crafty, and DS isn't up to much either (he's 7). I have a few cereal boxes etc. Any ideas please?

Is this any help - the download links are at the bottom of the page

thanks guys
those downloads are a bit to posh Rusty - we're looking to use cereal boxes and egg boxes etc. They require you to by the card set from what i can tell.

You can print it out on card without buying it, but it may be a bit much for a 7 year old

How about this?

Have you seen the BBC Romans site btw?

We had a greek temple to do a few years back - it proved so complicated even though we had instructions that it has been dropped as a project since! Try using corrugated card rolled up into cylinders as columns, a tissue box as the central part all mounted on a cereal box.

Can you do a ruined villa? lots of half columns - some fallen over, rubble (stones) piled up and stuck down and some green grass (somehow...)

thanks again guys. That link looks good Rusty. We have been looking on the BBC Schools page - DS said they look at it in class too.
Lizs - I'd like this idea to be dropped too!!
Ohyoubadbadkitten - I think it will probably end up looking 'ruined' even if that's not the idea to start with . Off to the local art shop tomorrow for some corrugated card and other stuff me thinks.
