I've just bought the snowflake cutter thingie and they charged £5,95 for postage!!! They saw me coming. Does look lovely though and there's no hobbycraft near me

Expat Hobbycraft is a very expensive place unless you have more self-control than I have

PP I love that place you linked to....

SS, this time of year, I feel my inner craftster coming out and have to sit on my credit card when I go to these sort of sites.

I have avoided that so far this year by rummaging through cupboards and proving to myself how much as yet unused stuff I have... currently painting a dolls china set I found in cupboard (one of 2) for friend's DD's birthday - my DD can have the other one for Christmas.

Try asking at your local printers for offcuts? Ours generally has at least some, and last time I asked gave me two big boxes full of mixed coloured paper and card, from smallish bookmark sized strips through to pieces bigger than A4.
