i wondered if anyone else out there does cross stitch pictures as a hobby.

I brought a kit today of a ballet picture thinking how hard can it be - i can embroider but then looked at the instructions and thought - Whoops!!!

Can anyone recommend any websites for beginners etc.

Many thanks

I'm looking forward to seeing your website!!! thanks for the tip about the stain

Is this a hobby that has turned into a job or something that you've always done??

I used to make clothes for DD when she was about 18 mths and DH thought i could turn it into a business. But fashion is so risky and given what the market is like already, he soon came round to my way of thinking - i.e. NO & far too much work!!

another thing re cleaning is to get it dry cleaned. I get my offerings framed in an art shop and they reccommended I had it dry cleaned befroe framing (it was particularly grubby - they don't always) They have a deal with a local dry cleaners. I droppped it in and paid (a whole £) and then the framers picked it up and framed it.
