I want to make Ds a little pair of slippers with non slip sole. I had a scrap of suede for the last pair but need some more and possibly a little thicker. I tried ebay but no one has anything but really thin stuff. where to buy a small amount just a little thicker?

where in the country are you? in my area there's textile shops called reminant kings all over the place. rolls upon rolls of any material imaginable.

Try a leather furniture store. You might be able to get some samples from their last year's sample book?

I am in the home counties and no fabric shops except for curtain stuff in my area

ooh pookamoo what a good idea i shall try that one this week as we have a few posh furniture places here. DS might have Natuzzi shoes.

I would have suggested chamois leather but that might be too thin
