Does this seem a bit tight for a hm xmas pressy?

For my dad and sister we never really see & I don't know what either of them are 'into' these days as they never really talk to us when we see them but talk between them

My budget is about £5 per person, so £10 for both (obvious sorry) for the following
a home made xmas cake
wine ingredients to make it into mulled wine
couple of nice glass mugs painted by kids
piccy frame or something similar decorated by dd

I really don't know what to get them as according to my dad my sister only likes expensive jewellery (as in subtly telling me stuff she wants is out of my price range) & other than playing guitar I don't know what my dad does with his time any more so thought those bits would be quite nice. Anyone disagree or think it's a bit tight? Or have any other ideas that would be nice with those things but still within budget?

what about having a look for some 2nd hand guitar books for your dad? If you know what he likes.

I would make your sister jewellery, think of what she wears, colours she likes, but that might take you out of budget? getting the kit.

Just more ideas, I think your ideas are lovely, if they are not delighted with that... buy them both the £10 equivalent of an Oxfam goat.

lucysmam i like your suggestions and would adore them as presents. If they do not like things made by your family then they are not worth spending any more money on.

I think your ideas are great.

Aefondkiss, I like the goat idea funnily enough & second hand guitar books are a good one too. Might have a look for a small piece of jewellery for my sis in charity shop & a book for my dad so they each have something of their own as well as the other bits if I have any of my budget left over.

Thanks
