Are there different sorts of PVA glue?

Have found an ENORMOUS container of PVA glue in the garage. Bought from a DIY shop to damp proof a cellar years ago. Looks and smells just like the white stuff dd uses for crafts. Any reason why she can't use this for sticking and collages?

It's the same stuff - DIY shops often sell it as wood glue.

Dd has used it before and there were no dire consequences ...

i think it is basically the same stuff BUT pva for paper has a higher water content and wood glue is stronger IYSWIM - you can also water down pva and use it to varnish decoupage etc. HTH
