where to buy fabric online?

As the title says, where can I get lovely fabric online, I am looking for really funky patterns stuff, not just plain colours. i hope you can all help.

What sort of patterns? Children's ones?

I have a couple of places I have used. I will rummage (virtually) and see what I can find

try indian fabric shops (real and online) - they often have gorgeous patterned/embroidered fabrics

i would look at curtain fabrics for bags. ebay sometimes throughs up the odd gem in fabric now and again.

I like this on ebay. Mostly they sell 'fat quarters' which are for quilting, though i imagine they might sell larger pieces too.

My friend makes fantastic bags using retro quilt covers and sheets that she picks up in charity shops. She also gets fabric from ebay I think...

E-bay are quite good.....
