CONGRATULATIONS!!! my it be the first of many for you.

Re pricing,what size is it? Most of mine are A5 size and personalised.I started selling those for £1.50, but everyone said I was under charging, so now I charge £1.50 for an A6 size card and £2 for the larger,tall or square cards. I do give 10% of that to the Downs Syndrome group I attend for dd.
Do a quick tally up of how much it cost for material to make sure you cover that,and try to judge a price depending on how long you took to make the card.

I don't sell that many, so perhaps someone else will be along to help you!

Yorkiegirl - Do you have any time at the moment to make another one? I need a get well soon card for a little lad aged 5 years who has broken his arm. He loves trains, so I think that would be a good theme. I realise that you'd have to post it to me for me to send him. I would be happy to pay £2 or whatever for the card plus the postage. What do you think? If you're game, I'll CAT you. Oh, blast. Just remembered that my e-mail isn't behaving atm as ntl have problems with the network. A few people on MN have my address, that might work. Anyway...you might not want to do it! What do you think?

well done you.....the better you get the quicker you will become and the better your cards will be....so then you can charge more for them....I sell mine for £2.50 to friends and family....£3.00 to anyone else. When I first started I would give them away....amazed that anyone thought they were any good!!!!

Dh's work colleague's 40th, eh? Hmmm. What are his hobbies? You can ask us to brainstorm some ideas. I usually come up with daft ones, but then they can be toned down and made workable by someone else!

I've sold one too, though more of a "poster" thing than a card, but along the same lines!!! Much more enjoyable doing it for money!!

I was really pleased with myself, been taking my cards to my local mother and toddler group, and now i dont need to get them out as someone will always come over and ask if ive got them sold 7 last wednesday and 12 the week b4. Was really chuffed with myself :-) :-) :-)
