Last night I made a fab lampshade for ds1's new bedroom, and I'm really pleased with myself so I thought I'd share it with you all.
I got a cheap, round paper lampshade from Asda, used the kids' poster paints to paint stripes on it and hung a little basked (actually an old penpot from Ikea) underneath it. Will put a teddy or a Fimble or something in it.
It looks just like a hot air balloon, and I really am feeling quite smugly pleased with myself. And it only cost about £3!
