Help! How do you write lettering onto a home sew birthday bunting?

I'm making a birthday bunting for dd. How do you do make letters for it?
Do large letter iron-on's exist or is it going to have to be fabric paint?
Any other ideas would be welcome.
Cheers

I would have a go at cutting letters out of felt and sewing on / ironing on. I've also seen a crafts book recommending ironing fusible interfacing on to the back of fabric if you want to cut shapes out of it for applique...?? Think you can also get printer paper that you can then iron-transfer to cloth. Good luck!

Leave it plain!

Like Smittals says, you can get transfer paper for your printer.

I cut out felt letters and sew them onto mine - but you could just use fusible interfacing

i used stencils and fabric paint.
