just wondering, as i have a really lovely gemstone i'd love to turn into a necklace - wondering if anyone on here could, erm drill a hole in it and thread it on either a chain or a length of leather for me??

or perhaps it would need to be done some other way?

Hiya - not sure what sort of stone you have but if it has a smoothish back, you may be able to glue a bail (a mount for hanging) onto the back of it.

Here's some of my stuff

cool, thanks whizzz, your stuff is lovely

would superglue do, d'ya think? or something a bit less 'industrial'? i'm a little embarassed taht i'm not exactly sure what kind of stone it is! i wanna say turquoise, but it's not that as is a paler blue/green with speckles and is slightly translucent.

both whizzz and Dior are fab jewellery makers...

you would need a specialist to drill the hole.. its a specialist tool... too expensive for me ... all my things are simple precut stone beads... though to be honest i've been doing more painting than jewellery making just recently...
