Online shop for crochet/knitting?

Could anyone recommend an online shop where I can stock up on the basics for crochet and knitting? I've just taken a few books out of the library and finally made it to the craft shop in town to discover they don't stock any crochet yarns! tia!

Hi redclover, I don't know about crochet supplies, but I like www.getknitted.com for knitting supplies.

get knitted is great, also laughing hens, ebay is fantastic (Aileen's shop is v good value, and her real life shop is amazing)
