Alcohol based tend to blend better. The ones from b and m are also good and I believe they are half price at the moment. I’ve spent a bomb on alcohol markers for my teens over the years. Ohuhu, b and m tend to best for acrylic they prefer to stick with posca but they are expensive

Alcohol ones are better for colouring in. You can do all sorts of effects with them. The paper you colour on also makes a difference too. Ohuhu do a 48 marker, carry case, and book set on Amazon for £40 which looks really nice and will get you started.

I really like the Decotime markers from B&M. They are on offer at the moment.
