Dd (4.5) has discovered my old dolls house.
My granddad did it for me when I was little (bought second hand country house and added extension ). Its a shell, I didn't look after it so well as a kid and I started on it when dd was a baby, thinking when she was old enough to appreciate it it would be a nice thing to pass on. Unfortunately I never finished it! (or got anywhere near in fact, just stripped it bare).
I need wallpapers, carpets, nice country furniture (I do have some lovely stuff and some 80's type furniture, not so nice ). I can make a lot of it myself but where do you get the wood (and what is it called?). I need new windows and doors (could probably make myself tbh) and a lighting kit.
I know it would probably be much cheaper to but a new one but sentimental value and all that. Any suggestions?
