3 year old art

My dd is 3years +2 and since christmas has gone from just about drawing a circle, to doing pictures of people, some other objects.and starting to write her name . A family friend commented that my dd seems to be doing well with drawing. Is she just being polite or are some of these painting and pictures quite good?
Sorry if I seem precious, I'm just curious.

I'd say they are doing well with drawing, the figures look good, but I don't think they are exceptional for their age. Cute pictures but nothing out of the ordinary I would say.

That's fair, thank you. I think, I'm more just surprised at how far dd has come with her fine motor skills in general since January, as she was a little behind before Christmas
