Kids party bags

Hi All!
My son will soon be having his 7th birthday party and am looking for cheap ideas for what to put in the party bags. The theme of the party will be trees/plants/leaves/cactus etc etc as he loves the garden. He can't wait to get to mow the grass, look after the plants and is always saving the seeds from his food so that he can plant them. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can put in the party bags based on this theme? TIA xx

Well definitely put in seeds! Sunflower, pea, nasturtium go down well IME. You don't even need to give each kid a whole packet: I've put a few each in mini envelopes before, and once used those cardboard seedling pots as the "party bag" itself. Another party I went to had an activity where the kids planted their own seeds in the little pots but depends how messy you want to get.
Maybe things like mini magnifying glasses, bubble wands, or those bird flyers you can put together. At 7 they do like a bit of tat so I try to include some fun junk but an eco-minded child like your son might like appreciate not cluttering the planet with plastic junk. More biodegradable treats could include stickers, chalks, or those cheap bath bombs. And at least sweets vanish!

Another thing my kid liked are the little cardboard superhero masks you can get in packs from craft stores - they're plain white to decorate yourself. A good activity for the party or to pop in a party bag.

Sorry for the late reply.
I get a lot of my crafty stuff from Baker Ross, and they have a section on party bag fillers, if any of these would be any good
