I have just found out about the recall of the craft kit and we have the affected batch.
We bought it last year and have used it multiple times using the green sand.
We actually have a little table where I have a craft mat which we always leave out over the table and I remembered it was the green glitter/sand because I remember scooping it into my hands and hoovering it up.
I am pregnant at the moment and my son is now 4 but I am extremely worried that its potentially been all around our house as I did pack the mat away and its been stored upstairs in my sons cupboard. I am also worried its been in the hoover that I have shaken out. I am so worried for my little boy and Hobbycraft really haven't been any help.
I am going to get it tested as I am going out of my mind with worry about it but to be honest the batch is probably the newest one as I bought it early last year and it was the first number to be recalled so unfortunately I would imagine that is the one that has been tested and now they are adding more to be safe.
They have said to clean the area but how many times have we played with it now and seen as I folded the mat up took it upstairs and put it in a cupboard means there could be fibres everywhere.
I feel absolutely devastated and I feel awful that we bought this and have been exposed to it. Has anyone else got the batch 6686021000?
I just don't know what to do.
