High quality photo prints

Does anyone know of any companies that produce really high-quality, professional-level photo prints? We recently had a lovely Christmas mini shoot, although they only provide digital images, and we wanted to have some high-quality photos framed for ourselves and the grandparents for Christmas. I probably only have another year or two left before my boys refuse to do these things, so I want to make the most of it!

If there's a university nearby it might be worth seeing if they've got a print services department you can use. A lot of them do and many will accept jobs from members of the public. I work at a uni and I've used our print services team to produce some really good quality art prints before.
