i'm in the middle of finishing off 2 grafitti style cross stitch pics for my brother and have hit the wall. i need to get them posted for monday...... it's all the single stitches that are doing my head in. just need some motivation to get them done my eyes are soooo sore atm. any good tips for securing single stitches that appear randomly is much appreciated

I can't motivate you, because I am lacking some myself but can I ask for some help...

I am trying to do my 1st cross stitch in a long time...when you do single stitches do you cut the thread and start again or do you move from 1 single stitch to another?

it usually depends on how many stitches there are between them. if it's a big gap them i'd just do the one stitch. between 2-3 stitches i carry on but thread through the back of the other stitches ifswim. it keeps it neater at the back. oh and if you have to do single stitches then the loop method is the neatest.

Sprinkling some much needed mojo on you, that's probably where mine's gone. Just think how grateful he'll be.
