Have come across this site when browsing for yarn and it seems suspiciously cheap? Is it a chinese tat merchant?

No. It isn't.
I've ordered from them a couple of times and it was fine.
It was the only place I could find the particular Danish yarn that I wanted in a specific colour. They do stock some cheap yarns, as do most yarn shops, but also some of the decent brands like Rowan, Erika Knight, Malabrigo, Lana Grossa. A lot of what they have is difficult to find in the UK. They ship from Denmark and my orders arrived within a few days.

Ah that explains the not quite native English sounding text on the website then.

Now to choose yarn...

I've just ordered from them. I was reluctant because I didn't really want to order from overseas due to potential for delays and customs issues, but they were the only place I could get the yarn I wanted in the colours that I wanted.

Absolutely no issues - delivery was a little longer than you might expect from a UK supplier, but the correct yarn arrived within about a week. I'd use them again if I couldn't get what I wanted from one of the UK sites.
