Help with increase in moss pattern

Hi there!

This cardigan has been the reason I gave up knitting 3 times already!

Im at the sleeves stage, and more precisely the increase part - well the row after, row 3.

How can I increase without messing the pattern!? I would understand if the 2 increases where next to each other but there is a k1 at the beginning of the row.

I tried to follow instructions from the comments on ravelry (basically knit as they don't come) but that makes 3 purl next to each other on row 3 (2 at the beginning and 1 at the end).

Any advice?

Just do it according to the pattern in the knitting and ignore the written instructions.

If you are increasing in moss stitcch at the edge if a sleeve you can’t begin every row with knit. Some have to be purl.

And you’ll be sewing the sleeve edges together, likely under the arms, so the wonky bits won’t be on show anyway.
