Christmas Cracker

My Mum used to have a sewing pattern for Christmas crackers that used a toilet roll tube inside, you had two pieces that you pulled apart but she doesn't have the pattern and can't remember where it came from originally, I think it was a magazine

I know it's a bit of a long shot but does anyone know what I mean and how to make them? I'm okay at sewing but rubbish at figuring things out 😅

Do you mean to use them as actual crackers with gifts inside or simply as tree decorations ?
If the latter I imagine it's simply a rectangle of fabric about twice the length and the same diameter as the tube, sewn round the tube and gathered in at each end. And to make it a bit fancier you could do zigzags or something at each end....
