Anyone ever printed t-shirts?

Not for commercial use or for making to sell but I’d like to be able to print my own t-shirts. I have a design in my mind but not a clue how to go about doing it.

I do, it’s not something I do very often, I have a home heat press etc but it’s easier and cheaper to just use a print on demand service online

You could try screen printing? I haven't tried it but it is on my list of things to have a go at. You can get kits from craft shops.

I don’t want that plasticky print texture though - the type that will scorch and singe on an iron.

Also, while I have a design in mind, how do I put it on a transfer?

fabric pens? Use an online service.
