How much fabric do you buy?

I'm on holiday and have seen so many lovely fabric shops. I was wondering how much posters buy, if they haven't a particular project in mind, just want to add it to their stash. I buy 3 metres.

Yes, I normally buy 3 metres, but I'm trying to use what I have and not build my stash 😔

I’ve had to stop buying fabric and try to use up my stash, but I find anything less than 3 metres can be restrictive. I’ve too many bits and pieces of one or two metres that just aren’t quite enough for the kind of project they’d be best suited for.

I make a lot of bags so far quarters are my favourite. There's a Scrap store in Hull where I often find them for around £4.
