How can i learn to sew?

I would low to mke the dd's some simple dresses this summer, but am unsure of where to start.

nothing fancy, have a sewing machine buts its ben so long since i;ve used one i dont know where to start.

I used an old dress of dd's and added a few cm's all around the shape and it worked out great ( was a haloween costume)

Just take your time and you'll be fine

start with something simple, get to know your sewing machine,

try this, really easy playmat/toy bag i made one for ds, great for storing toys with tiny pieces in like lego or playmobil

for clothes, if i were you, i'd do some searches on you tube for film of people sewing, i find it much easier to understand instructions by watching someone else do it first. some here about following a pattern
