That looks like an AI generated "pattern", so not a pattern at all.

Maybe look on Ravelry for something similar with a proper pattern.

Oh OK!thanks

This is the third time you've asked for someone to write the pattern from one of these diagrams. I tried really hard last time but I think pp is right, time to look for proper actual patterns.

CrochetBug · 19/06/2025 16:08

Id say you need a chart like this, but some of those symbols on your post aren't any I've ever seen, so I agree with PPs. You need to find a proper (written) pattern.

Google “flower granny square”. Tons of options.

Aah.

@fattyvine what's stopping you from finding a pattern that you can follow? If you can't follow charts then look for a written pattern (but crochet charts are really quite simple to follow, you just need to choose ones that reflect your level of skill).

beadystar · 19/06/2025 17:57

Look for a youtube tutorial for a granny square. If you can crochet, the routine is easy to follow.

I do always follow written patterns and when I find a pattern I like for which I cannot find a written pattern, only then I post for experts who are happily willing to help,if you guys are not finding it easy or don't want to help with the patterns then please don't, I am not forcing anyone to do this for me,

I used easy English so that everyone can understand, pretty self explanatory statement.😒

You are being arrogant and rude, OP. Odd, for somebody who claims they are asking for help.

People are not refusing to help, nor are the patterns too hard. The image you posted is not a crochet chart, so it is not possible to 'translate' it for you.

Scampuss · 19/06/2025 19:47

But when there are zillions of patterns already available, why rely on free labour from randoms on the internet to write patterns for you? Especially when you could just learn to read charts...

Edited

I don't need you to tell me this ,but if it's bothering you and others like you then how hard it is to simply scroll away

Where did you find it @fattyvine?

I have completed a few projects that gave both written instructions and charts so I am reasonably familiar with the chart notation. However, having had a close look at your picture I really can't fathom it. I think it must be using very non standard notation.

MyOtherProfile · 30/06/2025 21:23

I think @5foot5 that the first response nailed it - AI.

I mean, I know nothing about AI and ChatGPT or whatever it is, but why would someone be trying to train it to fake crochet patterns? And if they were, wouldn't they first train it to use standard notation?

AI is absolutely rife in the crafting world. Lots of people making lots of money from AI generated crap. If you ever use/buy patterns it's worth familiarising yourself with the problem.
