Rose petal confetti - advice please

I’m making rose petal confetti and so far the drying process is going well. If you have done this before, did you cut the petals up or leave them whole?

I am seeing conflicting advice on the many websites on the subject. If you did cut them did you do it before drying the petals or after? I saw a few suggestions of pulsing them in a blender to get a uniform size.

I think this is a matter of preference and I would say leave them whole because I find it more aesthetically pleasing!

If I was cutting them I'd do it once they are dry or the smaller pieces might get very shrivelled up and small once dry.
