have bought some roman blinds for my bay windows from ikea. really like them but they are a bit plain and also, me being the disorganised person iam, they are about 2 cms too short when they are down - der!
what is the general thought about putting a beaded trim on the bottom of the blinds? my front room is quite morroccan-y looking and i like trims and sparkles generally. would it look a bit naff though? give it to me staight, i can take it.

Sounds okay to me if it fits your scheme. Go for it.

Got potential. Pin the trim on first and see what you think for a day or two...

sounds good to me too - have a walk round John Lewis (or similar) and have a look at their trimmed blinds to get some inspiration.

Sounds fine. It'll only be tacky if the trim is tacky and I'm sure you wouldn't choose a tacky one .
I had a similar thing with blinds in my kitchen but they were not wide enough. I put some lovely shiny ribbon down the sides. Looks great.
