Just tried something new to chill out 🎨

Hey! I’m new here.
Lately I’ve been looking for ways to unwind without doomscrolling... and I stumbled onto diamond painting. Didn’t expect it to be so relaxing!
You basically stick little sparkly bits onto a canvas — super low effort, but really satisfying.
Anyone else here tried it? Or have other chill hobbies you love?

I have never heard of it , can you explain it a bit more ?

I agree. I got some for my kids to do but ended up "helping". It is like sticky backed plastic with a picture printed on it with a tiny grid and you have a pencil like tool which you use to pick up gems and stick them on the grid, similar to paint by numbers.

It’s kind of like paint-by-numbers, but with tiny sparkly beads instead of paint.

I think I'd like it but I forsee all the bits scattered everywhere 30 seconds after I start.

Bobbie Goods and Coco Wyco colouring books is my current go to for downtime.

My pass time is colouring my new book is all about cozy time the other is flowers big bold pitchers. My other pass time is dressing 3 babies i have in outfits ive made.
Doing their hair and dressing them in clothes made for the season we are in.

Everything is in a big box called the boring pass time box.
I know the above sounds very childish but i really find therapeutic.

Anyway i couldn't do it as a child but i can now.
