here, about someone on the internet posting knitting patterns of Dr Who characters.

But I don't think they'll be marketed any time soon!

there have been dalek and tardis knitting patterns on the web for ages, i wonder why they havent been removed

Next time poor old Mazzmattazz should get the BBC to licence the patterns she has distributed free, for a fee of course
I'm a great believer in copyright law being upheld but I don't see Russell T Davies and co publishing their own book of character patterns.

when it was mentioned on R4 this morning I immediately wanted a knitted Adipo (sp)

in fact when I saw the episode both DH and I said 'they'd make great cuddly toys' and presumed they'd be marketed commercially

I've just knitted a teddy bear that's ended up looking like an adipose. I'm not great at knitting - it was supposed to have a head.

We said the same about the Adipose, MrsB. Have to say, the knitted ones don't look all that great - the dalek ones are better, iirc.

thats nuts, they are brill but basic, hardly going to compete with the comercial ones. will have to bookmark that page and work out pattern for myself now
