Catching up with Marlow Murder Club on the telly last week and I was mesmerised by the very fine knitted cardy worn by Samantha Bond.

To my eye it looked like a 1ply knitted on 3.5needles, I have the yarn, but after a weekend of serious googling I cant find a pattern.

The over all affect is a very light net. Any one any ideas?

Do I need to knit a straight forward 4ply not changing needle sizes?

I have never heard of this show or actress but that is a lovely cardigan and I would love to hear how yours turns out, OP.

The dust bunny version seems not bad but looks to be too thick/ too hairy. You need a fiber that is very fine and dense, I would think. Also if you find a pattern please let us know! Thx.

Change of plans, daughter has announced pregnancy, finally I can try out all the baby patterns I've been hiding for years.

How exciting for your daughter! And you too of course!

Are you familiar with Ravelry.com? You can find there everything your heart desires . A goldmine of information.

Happy knitting!
