ok i have some felt...now what?

went to hobbycraft for the first time. OMG. could have spent hours and hours and lots and lots of money in there.
ended up with a few bits and bobs. but one thing i picked up was some felt sheets.
i was thinking of trying to make baby shoes. anyone have a good pattern for shoes? or anything else interesting to make out of felt?

no one crafty about then?

I've got loads of felt too sirdigy, after DH helpfully did laundry last week and has made my best cardi and one of my jumpers into it.

But anyway.. Finger puppets are a good thing to start with, quite simple.

i found this but perhaps i should try something a little easier first? oh hell i'll probably just jump in with both feet.

I have done the baby bootie pattern. Very straightforward, the first thing i'd made for years, got 3 pairs out of my shrunken cardi!
