Basingstoke Maternity Appeal for knitted hats

We are currently running low on knitted baby hats (medium to large, 34-38cm circumference) for the newborns that we welcome in our hospital.
These hats are essential for keeping babies’ heads warm right after birth, and your donations make a huge difference. Our families who receive them are so grateful for the hats, that we provide to their baby on your behalf.
If you or someone you know can knit and donate, the team would be so grateful!
Please share this post/tag someone you know, to help spread the word so we can stock up ready for our new arrivals.

If you have any donations then please either:

Post to:
Delivery Suite
North Hampshire Hospitals
Aldermaston Road
Aldermaston
Basingstoke
RG24 9NA

Or please drop them in to the Delivery Suite at Basingstoke.

Thank you and we look forward to receiving your kind donations.

I will start knitting.
Would sewn fabric hats be acceptable to? I make baby hats out of old T shirts and so on, they are very quick to knock out and because the fabric is 'old' very soft and the fabric is super stretchy so they cling well to the head.

Are crocheted hats acceptable?

Thanks for sharing, I've passed the post on to the knitters I know.

I've just had a look at the Facebook page for this, the hats have to be beanie type hats.
