Textiles - City and Guilds

I want to do a City and Guilds textiles course, where I actually go to a class and meet people. I work full-time, but I'm happy to travel - so evenings or weekends would work. I based in Derbyshire. Has anyone got any ideas?

I saw this on Facebook recently, Buxton area I think.

Try the local libraries - I know Nottinghamshire ones do a range of "sew a bag in an afternoon" type courses.
Depending where you are - Long Eaton Art Room seem to do random workshops, or Sewing Bee in Stapleford do similar as well. If you're further north/south in Derbyshire I'm not sure - I'll keep my ear open on my travels
