I made a Persian Tiles blanket using the Stylecraft yarn recommended in the pattern. I am so happy with it, absolutely love sleeping under it! But it is very heavy and stretchy, actually quite difficult to manage as a blanket. I'd like to make another, but in a different, less stretchy, yarn. I don't think weight will be an issue if it doesn't stretch so much when I pull it.
Can anyone recommend a yarn that is light but not stretchy? I think pure cotton would actually be too heavy.
