Question about Hobbies and what would be good to take up

Hello there

I am looking to take up a new hobby but don't know where to start. The problem is , I think I would like to dabble in everything which makes my search very confusing. Can anyone suggest something good to start with. I am thinking along the lines of pottery or even painting. Something where I can use my hands. Thanks

I suppose something good to start with is something that you don't need to spend loads on to set up, especially if you want a go at lots of things. How about knitting or a cross stich kit?
Although I am loath to recommend them, if you have a Hobbycraft nearby, they do lots of kits on all sorts of things which will let you 'have a go' without too much outlay.
Happy crafting !

Knitting is a good one to do if you want something relaxing, productive and useful. You can do it in the evenings watching telly or a film, and it is very portable, as well as being reasonably cheap. You can get knitting wool to practice with in most pound shops.

Baking? Very rewarding and you get to eat all of your creations!
