Craft set recommendations (for an adult)

I would like to treat myself to some kind of crafty hobby set to do at home. Ideally something I can do in front of the TV. I have done cross stitch and knitting before but am maybe looking for something a bit different. Although recommendations for great knitting or cross stitch kits would be welcome too. I like modernish designs but aren't into the sweary ones that I have seen. What else could I do while also half watching the TV? Embroidery? Crochet? Sashiko looks quite interesting.

Ideally I think I'm after a set that contains everything to get started. Any ideas? Thanks!

Try a Toft crochet kit, they have loads of very cute animals you can crochet.

You can definitely buy embroidery kits with everything apart from scissors.

Quilling and card making are also options.

I love diamond art, but you'd need a good lap table to do it in front of the tv (mine is from Ikea)

I learned to crochet from Attic 24's tutorials and YouTube videos. I was away making one of her big blankets (a granny stripe) within a few evenings of learning. I love crochet in front of the telly as I don't really need to look down much.
