Acetone is a solvent for superglue. However, you would need to be extremely careful as it may also be a solvent for the plastic too!

Not all nail polish remover has acetone in it anymore so you'd need to check the bottle. I got some recently in Home Bargains and it worked very well on getting some ill advised superglue off a silver bangle - one of those bright ideas that didn't work!
