My DIL has just asked me to knit a cot sized blanket for my GD. I’ve made loads of pram blankets over the years but never a cot.
I normally use DK and mostly crochet them just for something different to do but my crochet skills are basic.
soooo, can anyone recommend a pattern for a knitted blanket? I’m wondering about Aran weight fir warmth, but should I stick to DK
secondly what’s a good size for a cot blanket, I would rather to large than to small.
lastly, if I do a simple feather and fan design, which I love so might well fall back on, in DK how many stitches?
