Any paint by numbers enthusiasts ?

I started this two Christmases ago ! Got fed up with it and it was sat on the shelf for the last two years ! Try to get it done but getting soooo fed up by the last part 😣
seems never ending ! Some of the paints have completely dried up so can I cheat and buy some acrylic markers to do the fiddly parts ? The lines on the house seem impossible to do !

I can't see using different materials being an issue as long as the colours are similar. Alternatively you could re-oil and mull the paints, then use a detailing brush but for the amount of effort & cost it's not worth it in my opinion.

Usually paint by numbers have cheap acrylics, so anything like that would be fine, including pens. I used to enjoy finding the most ridiculous expectations ones - where her front cover is really detailed and blended that you just don't get by following the instructions. I would paint it first by the rules, then over paint to match the cover. Back before kids when I had time!
