Sewing sewalong/videos

I'm newbie at sewing and I want to find sewalongs and video as I am finding this way easier than following instruction/patterns on my own.

Can you please suggest some so I can start learning how to sew.

Debbie Shore has loads of comprehensive videos on YouTube and has been doing it for many years years.

Alternatively, If there is something in particular that you want to make, search for it on YouTube and you are most likely going to find a great video tutorial. There are 1000s. Some better than others, so you may have to watch a few until you find someone you like.

There are also tutorials on how to use your sewing machine as some makes involve changing the foot to make your task easier. Probably worth searching for the make of machine you have, again on YouTube.

Thank you, i will look into her. I want to learn both clothes and bags. I have two young daughters too would love to be able to make princess dress for them too

If you are very new to sewing and fancy trying some smaller projects like easy bags, and pouches, take a look at Christine's Home Affairs. Her tutorials are very easy to follow and she talks about batch making, which helped me a lot when I first started sewing.

Jess OklaRoots on YouTube has lots of excellent videos showing how to make bags. She covers everything from simple pouches and project bags to handbags and travel bags with more advanced techniques.

Tomkatstitchery on YouTube is brilliant, sewoverit is too. Once you start you’ll be hooked!

Minerva, have full sew along videos as well as technique videos. They will show a commercial pattern like Simplicity 9240 (hoodie) with the number and show you how to sew all the pieces together. Brilliant for learning.
