Christmas crosstitch card design ideas

Hi all! So every year I do a Christmas themed crosstitch card for my family and friends. I do something new every time, and the designs are usually by mouse loft.

in previous years I’ve done, snowmen, giraffes, gonks, santas, Christmas trees etc but I can’t find any new ones I like! Does anyone have any ideas for small Christmas designs that would fit an aperture card?

I was hoping there would be a capybara themed one I could use this year as they are the “in” thing at the moment but cant find any exciting ones.

Micheal Powell does a 20 to make mini Christmas cross stitch book that looks pretty good. I’ve not bought it yet though. Also, try looking through back issues of World of Cross Stitch. You can probably access them online through your public library. They normally have some nice designs. Not sure about capybaras though. You could maybe try Hobbycraft too. I personally think theirs were better in previous years though. Hope you find something in time.

There's a couple of Christmas capybara patterns on Etsy - the seller for the example in the photo is LaSelva designs.

I use designs that are really for small decorations,, They work just as well with the right sized card
