What to make from vintage linen napkins?

I have three really large - like 70cm square - vintage white linen napkins. Three is a pretty pointless number, but they were so lovely with embroidered initials on them that I couldn't resist. They are really too large to use as napkins, and I don't know what to do with them! I thought about a loose vest top or nightgown, but I think the linen is a bit too heavy. Or a kimono style jacket. Or a table runner 🤷🏽‍♀️. They are too nice for an apron. Any other ideas?

Why too nice for an apron? If they are that nice you probably could make a nice top? A fibremood norma?

They are the poshest napkins I have ever seen and an apron would look very pristine, but not very practical. Will look at the fibremood patterns. - thanks!

Small cushion cover, highlighting the initial?
Pyjama case with a different back?
One of those slit things that you put tissues in and pull them out one by one (used to see them in old haberdashers)
Scented sachets for drawers

I bought a couple of lovely linen t towels (unused) in a charity shop to make a breathable drawstring bag for freshly baked bread. Apparently it let's it breathe and stay fresh (we'll see!). At that size I'd probably go with cushion. They'd make a lovely basis for some needle art too. I've used heavy linen to turn my Mum's crewelwork into cushions.

@RiksBottom You caught my eye because I am in the same boat except I have about 40. I have both my grandmother’s stuff and her sister’s. I think I might also have a wedding present of my ggm. That tablecloth and its napkins are so soft, they must have been used a thousand times.

I think what I might do is look at turning some into my Christmas napkins, somehow. Or Christmas doilies, perhaps.

Make them a bit smaller and use as napkins?

Notebook or journal covers would be easier enough to sew...and perfect for adding embroidery to.
