Mounting a knitted picture.

I've knitted a picture - I'm very proud of it and want to mount it to hang on the wall.

I've bought some broken polystyrene insulation board reduced from DIY store. I knitted a border so I plan to wrap the edges over the board and pin it on at small intervals around the sides.

I wanted to use drawing pins but I'm not sure the standard ones are long enough to hold is securely - does anyone know of any longer pins that would work and look nice?

Definitely needs to be mounted attached to something rather than just hung from the top, or it won't stay in shape.

Pearl-headed floristry or dressmaking pins?

Long T shaped blocking pins might work, you'll be sure they won't rust and if your careful the heads should blend into the stitches.

Thanks, I managed to find some extra long drawing pins online so have tried them and they seem to be holding!
