Pattern for 'naive' soft toy

Now that's a strange thread title, isn't it?

I have about 4 hours to make a soft toy for my hours-old niece!

I wondered if anyone had an 'Etsy-like' pattern for one - a bit naive, folky, or even slightly freaky. Rabbits are good, but anything will do. Just need to get body and extremities right, could probably work out the head and ears myself.

THANK YOU!

Darling sock rabbit here?

Bluestocking · 03/04/2008 11:49

Oh blast! here

Wee Wonderfuls has some free downloadable patterns and one of them is a rabbit toy

Oh that's so lovely!
But - I have fabric (v soft woollen in cream and lots of scraps of patterned cotton) so was hoping to use that. Can I show off the slippers I made?

Hold on...

They are both lovely

onebatmother · 03/04/2008 12:27

why thank you! apologies for shameless showing-off. I don't get much of a chance to do stuff at the moment so it's nice when they go well, rather than sitting unloved and unfinished in the back of the cupboard...
