Sewing machines and being left-handed

I've been thinking of getting 20yo dd a sewing machine for her birthday. She's left-handed (I'm r-handed) so does that make a difference? Will she find it difficult to use? Any tips for south paw sewing machine users? TIA!

No probs at all- at least, I've never had any, and I had a child's one too.

Oh, 20! I read that she was 2!

I'm left handed and never had a problem. You do use your right hand a lot on the turning wheel but I'm sure once she's used to it she'll be fine

I'm convinced. I'll get her one for her birthday.
