I am knitting the forecast cardigan...I've done about 14 rows of the cable/bobble pattern now and have a sneaking suspicion something just ain't right...could one of you knitting boffins take a look and let me know what you think
it's the cable part...there are 8 rows per repeat...and my reading of the pattern says I take each row on the chart as a knit (or RS) row and not count the plain purl rows I do in between...however looking at the cable I am coming up with there seems to be a bit of a long gap between the elements...do you think I should be counting the purl rows as rows on the pattern chart too? (does that make any sense at all?) My bobbles just aren't "nestling" between the cables, they are more acting much more distant than that
(I hate charts today)
